Forms & Policies
Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in Palmetto Christian Academy. We hope the following information will be helpful as you go through the application process. All of the forms are available online. If you are unable to download the forms or if you have any questions, please call the school at 223-0391.
The following items must be submitted to the school before an interview will be scheduled:
1. Application form with a $100 application/testing fee. This fee is non-refundable unless Palmetto Christian Academy is unable to admit your child for academic reasons.
2. Student questionnaire, for students entering grades 6 – 12.
3. Pastor’s reference letter. This should be given to your pastor to be filled out and mailed by the pastor directly to Palmetto Christian Academy.
4. Letter of reference from a current teacher. This should be given to the teacher to be filled out and mailed directly by him/her to Palmetto Christian Academy. This requirement is waived for students currently enrolled in good standing at other Christian schools.
When we have received all the above we will contact you to schedule an interview. The student must be present for the interview, as we will also conduct entrance testing at that time. Students entering grades 6-12 will have a separate interview following the parent interview.
We will notify you by letter when a decision is made regarding admission. A non-refundable $200 enrollment deposit will be required 30 days following notification of acceptance. If the start of school is in less than 30 days, the deposit is required at the time of acceptance. The following forms must be submitted to the school by the first day of school:
1. Emergency form.
2. Copy of birth certificate for K4 and K5 students.
3. South Carolina Certificate of Immunization.
4. Copy of student’s Social Security Card.
5. Copies of report cards and standardized test scores for the current year.
6. In some cases, additional documents may be requested for placement purposes.
As a Christian school, we seek to work with Christian parents as they seek to obey God’s command to “train up a child in the way he should go.” Students who are accepted into Palmetto Christian Academy are expected to perform at grade level, exhibit good conduct, and demonstrate respect for authority. Students who do not exhibit these characteristics may be denied acceptance.
