A Day in the Life our Preschoolers, as described by Miss Meredith

"Our day begins with calendar time/circle time activities, such as learning about colors, shapes, etc.  Around 9 a.m. we break for snack time followed by a time of free play in our room. After snack and toys are cleaned up, it’s time to do a little work. Each week we focus on a letter of the alphabet as well as a number. We also do Bible lessons several times a week, including a special chapel time on Fridays.  After completing our work, it’s time to play! Good weather days find us outside on the playground, but if the weather isn't cooperating we play in the gym or in our classroom in centers. Soon it’s lunchtime followed by resting time. After resting, we use this time to practice other skills, such as cutting with scissors, painting, or doing puzzles. Our school day ends at 3 p.m. with after school care offered until 5:30 p.m. for parents needing this service. Our days are spent learning how to share, be friends, and grow into the person God has created us to be. This is accomplished through much patience, practice, and most importantly, love."
