Running Club


The Running Club program was started in 2013 by Nancy Sprouse with the intent on giving the students that attended the After School Care program more physical activity. The program grew from 12 students to averaging 40 students. The program then extended beyond After Care students. More students were interested in participating in the program; it eventually separated from the After School Care realm. The purpose of Running Club is to provide another opportunity for students to receive physical activity. An increase in physical activity increases brain activity which aids students with academics.
