Dear Parents,

Palmetto Christian Academy has the privilege again this year to participate in Jump Rope for Your Heart (JRFH),which is the American Heart Association fundraiser for schools. Last year we participated and raised over $1,100 for the American Heart Association. Our students learned about heart disease and its prevention as well as playing a role in helping their neighbors through their efforts to raise funds for education, research, and treatment of heart disease. All grades will participate in Jump Rope for Heart this year.

With your permission, your child may participate in the event. Information packets will go home Thursday, April 1st,and our JRFH event will be held on Friday, April 23rd. To help your child begin to raise funds, please read the information provided on the packet. One of the most effective and easiest ways to raise money is to create a webpage on line. The American Heart Association has a website on which each student can register and create his own webpage. Some of our students did that last year.  Some siblings even joined together to raise money. Prizes will again be awarded for each level of funds raised.
