National Honor Society – PCAG Chapter
The National Honor Society was established in 1921 to recognize high school students who show exemplary academic efforts as well as excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These are the traits staff looks for when they decide who will be invited to serve in the school chapter of NHS. Students who have shown their commitment to each of these areas represent our school as they serve in the community and beyond through their NHS service projects.
The Palmetto Christian Academy of Greenwood chapter of the National Honor Society held its inaugural initiation ceremony on November 3, 2011. Five members were inducted into the NHS at the ceremony. Since the initial ceremony, our students have worked diligently to serve not just PCAG but also the Greenwood community through service at The Food Bank, Project Love, Red Cross, and many others.
