The High School at PCAG is known as being highly academic and for a small school offers a wide variety of course offerings. During the 2017-18 school year PCAG offered its first College Board approved AP course on campus, AP Calculus. High School students also were able to take AP US History through the College Board approved online provider Sevenstar Academy. The class met daily and was overseen by a PCAG teacher. In 2018-19 we added AP English to the curriculum as well as AP European History.
Students also have the opportunity to enroll in Dual Enrollment courses and PCAG is currently working to offer some Dual Enrollment courses on campus in the near future. In addition to our AP and Dual courses, students receive a College Prep High School Curriculum with most classes being taught at an Honors level.
Historically, PCAG students have done extremely well on College Entrance testing. During the 2017-18 school year the Average SAT score of PCAG 10th and 11th graders was 1253. PCAG graduates have enrolled at several Universities including Furman, Clemson, South Carolina, Lander and Covenant. Although our school is young we already have graduates who are well established in the medical, science, and business world and others who are pursuing advanced degrees in medicine.
